My Background

I am married with a grown-up family. I have had a varied career which has included full time carer, finance, training and development, and more recently teaching. I have experience of working in the voluntary sector and have worked for the Samaritans, Listening Post and Cruse.

My Counselling Approach

I have trained as an Integrative counsellor which means that I have the knowledge and experience of integrating different theraputic techniques. Although my personal approach to counselling starts from a 'Person Centred' base I am also able to work psychodynamically and cognitively.
